Tokyo Disneyland Japan is one of the easiest ways to add a full day of magic to a Tokyo itinerary.

Located in Urayasu, Chiba, just outside central Tokyo, the park is part of Tokyo Disney Resort and is built around the classic Disney theme park experience: Cinderella Castle, themed lands, family-friendly rides, parades, restaurants, shops and character moments.

Officially known as the “Kingdom of Dreams and Magic,” Tokyo Disneyland is divided into seven themed lands, including World Bazaar, Adventureland, Westernland, Critter Country, Fantasyland, Toontown and Tomorrowland. Each area has its own rides, shops and restaurants, making the park easy to explore across a full day.

Fantasyland is one of the biggest highlights, especially for visitors looking for the classic Disney atmosphere. This is where you’ll find fairytale-inspired attractions linked to stories such as Cinderella, Pinocchio and Beauty and the Beast, along with family favourites and the park’s signature castle setting.

Tokyo Disneyland Japan is also a great choice for evening entertainment. The park’s current show schedule includes parades and nighttime entertainment such as Tokyo Disneyland Electrical Parade Dreamlights and Reach for the Stars, a nighttime spectacular at Cinderella Castle. Tokyo Disneyland tickets should be purchased in advance online or through the Tokyo Disney Resort App. Park tickets are not currently sold at Tokyo Disneyland or Tokyo DisneySea ticket booths.

A standard 1-Day Passport allows entry to either Tokyo Disneyland or Tokyo DisneySea from park opening time on the selected date. Official prices start from ¥7,900 for adults, ¥6,600 for juniors and ¥4,700 for children, with prices varying depending on the date.

Tickets are sold from 2pm JST for admission dates two months later, and sales may continue until one hour before park closing on the day of visit if tickets remain available.

Access

Tokyo Disneyland is easy to reach from central Tokyo. Take the JR Keiyo Line or JR Musashino Line to Maihama Station, which is about 15 minutes by train from Tokyo Station. From there, Tokyo Disneyland is within the Tokyo Disney Resort area, with shuttle bus and Disney Resort Line options also available.
