Le Jardin de Tweed Ginza is one of Tokyo’s most stylish rooftop terrace experiences. Located on the 11th floor of the Chanel Ginza Building, this seasonal open-air venue offers champagne, cocktails, sweets and light food in a polished garden setting above one of Tokyo’s most famous shopping districts. The name means “the garden of tweed” in French, and the terrace is surrounded by plants trimmed into a tweed-like pattern.

The atmosphere at Le Jardin de Tweed Ginza is elegant but relaxed. It is made for slow afternoons, sunset drinks and special evenings, with rooftop seating that feels far removed from the busy streets below. The official website describes it as an open and refined rooftop terrace where guests can enjoy champagne, cocktails, finger foods and sweets.

The biggest reason to visit Le Jardin de Tweed Ginza is the setting. This is not a casual café stop; it is a polished rooftop space designed for champagne, cocktails and a luxury Ginza atmosphere. It works well for date nights, special occasions, stylish meetups or anyone looking for a quieter rooftop experience in central Tokyo.

The menu is also part of the appeal. Food items are created by BEIGE Alain Ducasse Tokyo, the French restaurant located in the same building, and include elegant sweets, finger foods and terrace-friendly dishes. The official menu mentions items such as Carré Chanel, special bouton chocolates and assorted appetisers.

For the 2026 season, Vogue Japan highlights a limited tea-time set called Blanche, priced at ¥4,700, featuring a white quilted-style mousse cake, camellia-shaped chocolate details and a drink. The article also notes signature cocktails including Coco at ¥2,500 and Rosé Mademoiselle at ¥2,000.

Drinks are central to the Le Jardin de Tweed Ginza experience. The venue serves champagne, cocktails and drinks supervised by Minoru Nishida, the bartender connected with K36 The Bar & Rooftop in Kyoto. The official site also says guests can visit for drinks only, making it suitable for a stylish pre-dinner or after-shopping stop in Ginza.
