ESLEAD Hotel Daikokucho Annex might be one of the biggest hotel rooms I’ve stayed in Osaka.

This is one of ESLEAD’s newest-feeling additions in the city, and the room was huge. Like, properly huge. Instead of a standard hotel room with barely enough space to open your suitcase, ESLEAD Hotel Daikokucho Annex feels more like a full apartment built for a family or group trip.

It is a minpaku-style apartment hotel with self check-in, keyless entry, a full kitchen, laundry facilities and enough space to actually live comfortably during an Osaka stay. The official ESLEAD page describes the property as a vacation rental-style hotel with spacious rooms ideal for families and large groups, located close to Daikokucho Station and within walking distance of the Namba area.

The biggest reason to book ESLEAD Hotel Daikokucho Annex is the space.

The room I stayed in felt massive, especially compared with the usual hotel rooms you find around Osaka. It had the kind of layout that makes sense for a full family, a group of friends or a longer Japan trip where everyone needs room to spread out.

My room had 3 separate bedrooms, 5 beds, a massive living room and a full kitchen with everything needed to actually cook. It felt like the kind of apartment-style setup that could handle a serious group stay, not just a couple of travellers passing through for one night.

The apartment was so new it still smelled brand new, and the whole fit-out felt crisp, clean and fresh. The design is simple, modern and practical, but the real luxury here is the amount of space.
